Orientation: Jour 1

Woke up around 7:45 am, although it was a little difficult...Headed over to the BU Paris center, which is located in the 15th Arrondissement, with a few other students.

They had mini croissants, pain au chocolats, and nectarines waiting for us! And they set out personal folders for us as well.

After a few hours of orientation  presentations, we headed out with baguettes, cherries, cookies, and water for a picnic lunch. The BU center is only a block away from the Champ de Mars and the Eiffel Tower. We also took a ride on the 'Croisieres Parisiens' boats up and down the Seine, which is something I always enjoy doing when the weather is nice. There's a lovely breeze and so many great sites to see along the way.

Went with about 7 other students to get some drinks and food at a local café. We explored for a little bit, stopping at the bank, a pharmacie, and a few clothing stores.
